Alicia Tannahill is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Iowa. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Wartburg College in 2015 and her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa in 2018.
Alicia works with clients of all ages but takes a particular interest in working with children as young as age three. Alicia is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and in Play Therapy. She believes in meeting with her clients where they are at and working towards client goals collaboratively and non-judgmentally. Alicia has experience in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, and behavioral concerns.
Alicia lives in Mason City with her husband, son, and three cats.
Jill Kreimeyer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) that is able to provide therapy based on the needs of the individuals. She provides a non-judgmental therapeutic environment that allows her to support the individual needs for others. She is comforting and accepting, as well as able to encourage new perspectives to challenge thoughts. Her clinical experience and treatment history includes: anxiety, depression, major life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, substance use, and dual diagnosis treatments.
Jill incorporates modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, as well as Cognitive Restructuring. Her goal is to provide a safe and inviting environment to explore challenges and barriers each of her patients’ experience. She recognizes that emotional discomfort creates the feeling of being alone on an island and has the ability to encourage strength and determination to accomplish positive growth.
Jill was born and raised around the Mason City area and is able to connect with others and encourages acceptance to accepting support for mental health and emotional health, while challenging our own internal bias. She is only able to provides appointment times on select evenings and weekends.
Barbra Kozisek holds a temporary license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is also a licensed school counselor, administrator and teacher in the state of Iowa. She has over twenty-five years of experience in both the public school and Lutheran schools as a counselor, administrator and teacher. She taught psychology and Life Span Development for NIACC and currently is an adjunct faculty member in the school counseling department at Concordia University in Nebraska. This experience allows her to connect with a diverse range of clients.
Barbra received her BS in Family & Consumer Science Education from Iowa State University and an MS in Counseling from Eastern Illinois University in 2005. She received her certification in school administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and in religious studies from Concordia University in Chicago.
Barbra believes that people have a unique purpose in life. Barbra’s holistic approach, focusing on the Mind, Body, and Spirit, reflects her commitment to supporting clients on their journey to understanding their life purpose. Barbra’s dedication to creating a safe, non-judgmental environment ensures that her clients feel supported as they navigate their challenges. She tailors her counseling to meet clients at their individual points of need, fostering an atmosphere of understanding and growth.
Amy Siefken has worked at Anastasi Counseling Services since 2004 and is the office manager. She assists clients with scheduling appointments, files claims with insurance companies, and is in charge of billing. Amy has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
Tonya Davis is in the final stages of completing her internship in Mental Health Counseling. She is set to complete her master’s degree from Liberty University in December 2024. Tonya also holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University.
Tonya has a strong, compassionate approach to her work, emphasizing empathy and collaboration in her client relationships. She works with individuals aged 13 and older, employing therapeutic modalities like person-centered therapy, solution-focused techniques, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Tonya is open to incorporating spirituality into her counseling approach, recognizing its potential to support healing and growth for some individuals. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that fosters trust and therapeutic progress.
Tonya’s clinical experience includes working with clients facing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, suicidality, ADHD, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and major life transitions. She is committed to providing a supportive, holistic approach to therapy, always focused on the unique needs and goals of her clients.
Outside of her professional life, Tonya has been married to her husband for 33 years. They live in the Mason City area and have three adult children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren—three granddaughters and two grandsons.
